Safari Vehicles & Safety

At Windsor Safaris we use Landrover Defender 110 and Toyota Landcruiser  safari vehicles. Each vehicle seats six travelers in comfort, plus our driver- guides. All driver-guides and vehicles are licensed by Tanzania’s national park authority for your safety. Each vehicle also has long range tanks and safari safety equipment. For your viewing  enjoyment, all roofs have lift up hatches.

For those of you who want single occupancy in a vehicle, special rates can be arranged. Groups of six or more, will get discounted rates.

We at Windsor Safaris are also members of AMREF FLYING DOCTOR SERVICE. So in the very unlikely event of one of our guests, becoming seriously ill or have a serious accident, they will be flown to Nairobi Hospital. There are airstrips within all the national parks, so on the northern circuit you are an hours flight from Nairobi airport.
